I recently ordered a 2004 BMW 300Ci with the sport package, should be arriving end of November. I am looking for a set of snow tires for the vehicle. I found a set on eBay. They are advertised as BMW Mille Miglia wheels 17"x8" with Blizzak WS-50 winter snow tires mounted size 245/45-17. It says they were designed for a M5 but may fit other BMWs. Will these fit on a 2004 330ci sport package? I live in Cincinnati where it doesn't snow super heavy, do you think I'll hate winter driving on dry roads/highways with the Blizzak WS-50s?
I appreciate any advice you can give me. Thank you Gary!

Unfortunately the 5 series takes very low offset wheels that don't work on your vehicle, also the tire sizing is very wide and tall. We do offer packages for both 16" and 17" that will help quite a bit in winter traction.
We've found the handling of the WS-50 in the lower profile 55 series and lower was not nearly as bad as the older WS-15 blizzaks. At very first, you definitely notice a difference in steering response and handling, but most quickly get used to it. One of the former moderators at E46Fanatics, Eddie, ran 225/45R17 WS-50's last year and was very happy with the results. I run these tires as well on my winter car. For a good compromise, you may wish to consider using 225/50R16 WS-50s.

Gary,
I thought 16-in won't work on the new e46's becuase they wouldn't clear the brakes. Is that only true of ZHP-equipped e46s? I thought brake size was common across all of the e46/330i's.

That is GENERALLY true, but the TireRack has a set of AT Italia Type 5 16" wheels that will clear the brake calipers. (And the ZHP has the exact same brakes as the regular 330i.)

Exactly :D
BWoodson,
Here is a direct link to the 'winter' section of the site where you can see more details about this wheel : http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AB2&url=/winter/index.jsp
