Does anyone know which cell phone I will need to get so it will work with the oem phone harness, the cpt7000 or cpt8000
I need it to fit a 2001 z3 with factory phone wiring
any help?

If you want it to do anything other than charge the battery, you MUST get the BMW phones. You can use the factory harness to access power, etc. for any phone's own carkit, but there will be no integration beyond that.
