Yokohama ENVigor UHP AS Tires

I decided to give these new tires a try.

Ordered them yesterday around noon from TireRack and they were delivered this afternoon. Their shipping is amazing! Will have them mounted on my E89 Z4 on Monday.

My initial impressions of this tire are very good. On the drive home from the dealer, approximately 100 miles, combination of interstate and highway the car performed well. Nice firm ride but without the bone jarring experienced with RFTs. Will post additional comments after I have about 1K miles on them. So far, I am verry pleased.

Can't wait to hear your impressions at 1k. How is the steering response with these? I suppose you don't really have anything to compare them to in the same car but what's your impression - is the steering crisp? How is the road noise?

Road noise is non-existent. Steering seems crisp enough but you are right I have nothing to compare since the RFTs were taken off at delivery. However, I did drive with RFTs on my 335i for about a year and really didn't feel the steering suffered after I installed a set of Yokohama ADVAN S4s. The ENVigors seem to have a slightly softer ride and lower noise. So far, I love the tires. Will be taking a long road trip in a couple weeks so I will post my comments when I return.

How many miles have you now driven with these tires and are you still happy with them? Also do you have 18" or 19" wheel size?
