View Full Version : X1 in Malta

Hi all.

Just took delivery of an Alpine White x23d auto with steering wheel shifting paddles, red brown leather upholstery, 322 mixed alloys, panoramic roof, X line and lights package with xenons. Still only 115 miles on the clock, so treating it gently, but initial impressions is brutal acceleration with the wheel paddles.

After my 2004 X3 20d, the ride seems much more refined, and the seating position is lower and more comfortable, almost like a beefy 3 series.

Check out the pics and tell me what you think.

Thanks for the feedback.

NICE. I dig it. My wife says it'll be her next car after her A3 lease winds down next year just in time for this thing to get Stateside. The back does look eerily like the Q5, though. Glad to hear you like the drive.
Please, enjoy.

I'm intrigued by this car. Looks nice. Love your leather choice.

Very nice, my X1 should be turning up in a couple of weeks (being built this week apparently).

Can I ask, what is that sticking out of the USB port on the dash?

Hi, it's a USB memory stick on which I saved my music. Just stick it in and no more faffing with CDs. Very convenient I must say...

That's a great car for Malta.

I'm planning to visit Gozo in July.

Ah, Gozo's great... like stepping 30 years back in time. Prepare for the heat! Enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the compliment... yep, right hand drive, result of once being an English colony :)
