Just picked up an '07 525xi CPO. Killer in every way. I'm really into this spaceship. :thumbup:

One really dumb question is bothering me. Is it normal for the transmission LED to stay lit in park after the vehicle is shut off and locked?

Thanks in advance. BTW have never owner a BMW before today. :)

Just went out & checked it again & it was not illuminated. Must stay on of awhile after the engine is shut off. Hope this is normal. I'm worse than a new father. :rofl:

Yes its normal. The car goes into full sleep mode around 15-20 mins. after its turned off.

Congrats on the new car.
