I think I finally have what I would consider the perfect car. After years of driving various lesser cars, progressing from a beater Civic, Corolla, Camry, IS250, and FX35, I pulled the trigger this past week on gray CPO 08 535i with 12K miles, premium, cold weather, sport, Nav, iPod, and Sirius. May have overpaid at little bit, at 39K. It's been a wonderful ride thus far. I'm thrilled with the flat cornering ability and instant power available. It might be the first car I'll want to keep for more than a couple of years. Hope I don't run into the HPFP issue though.

My only nitpick is the cupholder issue, but I'll learn to live with not ordering drinks from fast food places. I wish it had the PDC, but looking into the adding the license-plate mounted PDC.

Not sure what I car I would upgrade to from this, 4-5years down the road...

The HPFP issue is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall appeal of this car

Enjoy Ive had mine for 19 months now and it still is a joy to drive, the power is smooth and linear through out the powerband. It just has a great balance of luxury and sportiness that hits the sweet spot when you step on the gas pedal. No problems so far, its been a great experience.

Anvemi, what town in FL??

Regarding the cupholders, I love them! Of course, I'm comparing them to an E39's cupholders, not an American car's.

Little south from you - Coral Springs.

So far I got 50 miles on the car - it has cup holders?? :)
