No real experience with either specific tune but I've done tuning (bigger turbo, fuel injector, suespension, exhaust etc on my A4), one thing I can say w/o doubt, SUPPORT.
Make sure who ever sells thins thing has dealer local to where you live. BMW makes production run chane from time to time, your 530i may have slightly different parts than tuner test car for example which may lead to less moothness and requires fine tuning in S?W etc, even changes to MAF, fuel injector, S/W.

The other thing would be to make sure the SC kit is made for 530 not 330 or other variation from different year etc, fit and finish is super important down the road (I have Miltek exhaust that push on my turbo creating a gap in the exhaust manifold when cold).

Test drive the car+tune if you can to make sure the gain/drivability/smoothness (not jerky) etc. The owner may not let you drive their car with tune but you can tell being a passenger.

Also this kit doesn't include labor so at the end the cheaper kit may notbe cheaper just to be aware. And please let them install the kit or go to the appointment installer who experience with this kit in the past, you don't want a 19yr old kit with 5lb sledge hammer do you?
