The old a/d/s manuals site .pdf file wont zoom properly, cant read the
minutiae...any help is appreciated.

Is the P840 similar enough? http://www.adst.com/pages/adspdfs/p840man.pdf zooms fine for me. Just picked up one of these used and am looking forward to putting it in.
