Thanks for the info. I'm wondering how many of those assist modules are going to end up in the trash. From the doc, it looks like if you rip it out, you could put in Sirius. Buhbye assist.

The Sirius antenna can be mounted on the rear package shelf. 99.5 % of the time reception is fine. :rolleyes:

I drove an X5 with Sirius in it and the antenna mounted up top. I still got dropouts just from driving down a street with moderate trees and no high obstructions around. I was a bit disappointed to say the least.

Yeah, although whether I can justify ponying up that kind of coin for a car that I'll have for just over a year is an open question.
