I've had a minor but irritating rear wheel vibration on my new 330Ci since day one. At 1200 miles I made a service appointment to have it checked out. Finally getting in 10 days later, they gave me a loaner and said it would take awhile. At the end of the day I called and they said they had four different guys road test it (WTF?) and said it was normal. (Thanks for buring up my gas). Not satisifyed, the next day I take it to Discount Tire. They were great! I watched the tech who used the Hunter 9700 and right away he found the R/R tire had a road force of 46 lbs. Rotating the tire didn't fix it. Bottom line they took great care of me, and a new tire is on its way. Why does BMW Dealer Service SUCK SO BAD?

Funny -- i had a similar experience. I had a vibration-- took it to a BMW dealer who attempted re-balance it. Vibration still there. Charged me 50 bucks for the priviledge. Took it to Mavis, they fixed the vibration and charged me $15.

AKflyer,

Be sure your shock mounts are o.k., there is a service bulletin on them, they put in a rubber vibration insulating piece of some sort. It corrected a noise on mine.
