View Full Version : Washing Fluid Nozzle Aiming

Hey all,

Haven't been on here for some time now...dunno really why. Well, I noticed the other day that my driver's side washing nozzle on the hood is pointed way to low. Is it possible to adjust these things? If so, how?

P.S. After being fed up with the crappy BMW wipers, I purchased a set of PIAA Silicone wipers...they just came in the mail today from Bavarian Autosport. Will comment on their performance this Thursday/Friday when we will be having rain and then snow here in Toronto.

You can use a needle to adjust the nozzles.

yeah i just stuck a sharp icepick into the hole and bent the little tube to the right direction

believe it or not, there's actually a spec for aiming the nozzles somewhere. I haven't looked for it in my E46 manual but I'm fairly certain that my E30 owner's manual described it. the E30 manual also said something to the effect of "...don't bother to rotate your tires because it's a waste of money....."
