I'm going away for a couple of weeks, and would really like my 7 to start when I get back. I've heard that there is a switch in the right side of the trunk above the fuses that I can shut off so the battery won't drain. Is this true? has anyone tried this?

Before storing the vehicle for an extended
period of several weeks or more, slide the
battery switch located behind the trim
panel on the right side of the luggage compartment
to OFF. This reduces the current
flow from the battery for the period during
which the vehicle remains parked. A message
appears in the Check Control. Please
take note of the supplementary information
provided on the Control Display.

It's just above all the Fuses in the trunk......you need to look up and under a bit.....

It's a black slider switch ...beside the 'Emergency round green fuel filler puller' in photo's :
