Well as you are aware... We have LED tail lamps and brake lamps which are MUCH brighter and respond quicker than Halogen. Some cars: Aston Martin comes to mind, have turn signals that are amber but LED! Looks so much better.
Maybe find a place to wire in a resistor and fake a more correct resistance?

I ONLY order from superbrightleds.com -or- autolumination.com The second site has load resitors, the first sight has quality leds that have never burnt out or broken on me.

I just got the bmw 6mo's ago, so I haven't done any LED's yet. I tried to do led license plate lights but haven't found any site that can get enough leds on one bulb and still have it be short enough to fit in.
But, On my last car (VOLVO) I had full leds. The turn signals needed load resistors which you put on the positive line, some splicing will be required. I wish I could go into further detail, but I unfortunately dont remember much more than that.
