The E39 M5 'only' has 400HP though (and it uses some sort of CDV to save the clutch as it is). This has a hundred more, which makes me curious. Also, if it is the tranny out of the M5 (which would make the most sense) then I wonder how they got it to fit. Doesn't it have a much larger bell housing, etc?

Whatever it is, I'm really impressed that they got it all in there and working. :thumbup:

I wonder what the F/R weight ratio is with that heavy S62 up front...

Not a huge leap from things like the RD Tornado R50, but impressive nonetheless.

I'll be more than happy to settle for a S54, really.

M cars don't use the CDV.

Wow. Leave the original wheels on that thing and you have the ultimate q-ship. Looks like a very clean conversion, too.
