Just got my angel eyes MTEC 2.1. I called my BMW center n i spoke to my SA n he told me that they only install OEM parts because it might void some of the warranty in the car, ie: if for any reason i have any type of electrical problems, they might not cover under the warranty because of the lights. Keep in mind, i have both: manufacture n extended warranty. So what should i do? Plz b specific.

nice picture!
This upgrade does not cause any electrical issues and they are suppose to be error free. Go ahead with the install! im sure you'll be pleased

Your SA is an idiot. I just had my local dealer install v2's in my e65 on Wednesday. No questions asked.

If you need to take the car in for a service, just turn the lights off..Unless they strip the car down or see them as they drive into the service bay, they'll be none the wiser..
(unless you have DRL enabled...)

If you have to ask that, get someone to do it for you. Ensure they remove the bumper carefully and remind them not to split the bumper when inserting the trim strips (where the PDC sensors are)

As for DRL..Daylight Running Lights.
