Black = :thumbdwn:All Black 1 piece = :thumbdwn:
black 2 or 3 piece with a polished or chrome lip = :thumbup:

So by deduction...
...painting 128's black = indistinguishable from cop rims @ 60ft. :thumbdwn:

I asked the same question twice, but nobody responded. It seams that nobody on this site has black 128s.

I was going to do the same thing.

Do it and show me the pictures, and then I'll decide if I should do it as well...:dunno:

I don't think that it will look bad...it just can't. Black goes with everything.

What color is your car?

Add the red break calipers, and it will be even better.

here's how your car would look. a member on the board had them. i'd say the results came out pretty damn good. check it out:

I like it.

If I buy 128s, I will definitely powder coat them in black.

Wow, I don't like the flat black.:thumbdwn: Reminds me of my old neighborhood, when kids had stolen bikes, they just spray painted 'em flat black.:bigpimp:

hate to say it, but the flat is not good looking. i'd stick with classic silver and not chrome either.

I think the flat black looks bogus.
Even glossy black no.
The only way black rims look good imo, is when they have a polished or chrome perimeter, like many of the multipiece do.

But would it be too much to ask for the original pics for reference?

Are the original pics silver finish? or chrome finish 128's ?here's how your car would look. a member on the board had them. i'd say the results came out pretty damn good. check it out:
