Hey guys, making some headway with this. Just a question, when the car is off, should the valve be open or closed? Mine is closed. I try to move it, but the valve wont budge. I even had a buddy rev the engine to 3000RPM and it still looks closed. Do you think its siezed? I have a 2002 e65. Im wondering if the gold tee thing will work.

I spent some time today figuring this thing out. I have a question, is the exhaust valve supposed to move freely, because it's jammed shut. i could noyt open it at all. On top of that, I didnt even notice a vacuum in the tube. Even revving the engine, there was no vacuum at all. This might be siezed. Any ideas how to get it open?
Hopefully these will help you track down the problem. Attachments are from WDS.
