Gauge cluster Problems

I have an '87 528e. I pulled out the two NiCd batteries from my cluster; it's been acting up lately. Under the batteries, there are two ICs and two resistors. The resistor next to the smaller IC is corroded beyond recognition. Does anybody have any specs on this? I'd hate to buy a whole new board for $15 worth of parts.

Clip one side of it and ohm it out or remove it and ohm it out. Any chance for you to look at a cluster that doesn't have a corroded component?

That's a possibility, but I'd rather know for certain that I'v got the right part.
