I bet I know what happened, they do fit, but after install I dont think the dust cap is able to go back on. So they prolly just figured it doesn't fit and decided to charge you anyways. Take it back and demand that they put them in, just leave off the dust cap. I have an '03, so correct me if I am wrong on weather or not the newer headlights have that cap at all.

All I know is I had to leave mine off. Also, I know it sounds retarded, but they have to go in upright, I think(if I remember correctly) that that two of the three tabs are the same and the third one is slightly different.

Its a plug and play. There should be no problem. They definitely sent you the wrong ones. I bought these ones of ebay and they fit perfect.

those are the right ones, unless someone can confirm that the connector is different from 03 - facelift? As far as I know these lights are only made for the bmw so why would he have gotten a wrong set?

-EDIT-
Your cas has the new headlights, easiest way to to tell is the bottom of the headlight is flat instead of wavy

Dude, I think thats the headlight bulb......

The Angel eye bulb is located between the high and low beams so that it can light both rings

Yes, in the middle, towards the top of the headlight. Take it back to the shop and have them do it correctly. Then please SLAP one of the techs for wasting everyones time (and I mean a good old backhand slap, send em back to his childhood)

ANOTHER QUESTION THE DAYLIGHT BULB IS LOCATED WHERE? AND CAN YOU REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER BULB THATS MORE WHITE?

samadkins29
07-26-2010, 06:30 PM
The daylights are your high beams (possibly at a lower voltage). Go to your local auto parts and get the Super whites or w/e they call them. Should be H7 base, but have them double check when you get there.

Turn your daytime running lights on, if they are the set thats closer to the grill then those are your high beams, if they are the set on the outside(such as your sig pic) those are your low beams. PLEASE note that your car uses different bulb types for the low/high.

Your angels bulb is right. you have to take off headlights and take off plastic trim under headlights. then take off cup, under it find angel light bulb

Yes possible but you must add resistor inline, i have all LED 1 watt interior lights and step lights-under the doors, 2 watts plate #, also when i change my angels i put 1 watt front side LED's no errors, all LED i put are pure white color no any hue on that, looks ice, pm me if you need info where to get

what they pulled out was the highbeam. in order to get your lights in you have to remove the bumper and take off the headlights to get to them. go back there and fuss . i would take my money back and go some where were they know what there doing!!!

Yes, go to the first link I posted on the second page. That will give you the BASE of each bulb. Then go to autolumination.com or superbrightleds.com, you the cross reference chart and buy the correct LED's. You can get higher W leds so that you dont get any warning, or like someone else posted, you can get resistors.
