Car was parked for 2 weeks when return and put the key in get wiper fault and it would not turn on check the fuse in glove compartment,it's good any help would be great do not want to spend a lot of cash.

Well, I just went thru that! Your wiper motor has probably died and needs to be replaced. What I did was bought a used wiper assembly/linkage from bmrparts.com for around $200.00 shipped. It's not too difficult a DIY but you must reset the wipers when you install the new linkage. The STEALER is probably gonna charge $700+ for a new linkage + $125 to reset them so search used and get a good deal. Also make sure the wiper arms are not locked so that they wont extend out to wipe. After going thru this I discovered that our wipers re-position themselves every 6 or so hours to keep the wipers from resting too long on one side or the other to prolong the life of the blades. The other route is just buying a new motor and installing it on your existing linkage. Hope this helps..:thumbup:
