I posted a little while back about my drivers side seat looking really worn..........looked horrible in my eyes!!!!! Inquired a bit, and through feedback from the forum, I found out that there are guys who can essentially restore your seats back to an almost "newish" appearance! As promised, I took some pictures - though they are not the best from the iphone. Cost was $70.00 and it was worth every penny. Picture of worn seat is of the actual part that you sit on and not the back rest (hard to tell from picture) - so it's from an above angle. The others are comparables after the work was done. It looks amazingly good! Worth every penny!

All the best guys!

Feels like I have a new seat! Natural brown is not an easy colour to maintain!

FYI - It will wear back off soon...

A lot of car dealers do this when they sell cars. I used to be one...

What do people recommend for regular maintenance?

keep it mousturized and try to keep zippers and buttons from rubbing it too much

This is what I've been told, but I don't mind paying a little something to have it restored maybe every year or so.........it became something that disturbed me everytime I got into the car previously! Looking into a seat cover as well....

The guy I used is an independant guy working out of my dealership.....I get the impression that most dealerships will have a guy that does this for them, guy actually did the in the back of the dealership...not sure about seat rips though - but I'm sure they can handle that as well.

Actually they also fox rips too. All dealers use independent guys to come in once a week and repair rips scratched and worn leather and upholstery. I had a rip in the back seat once repaired for 90 bucks. Repair has lasted over 5 years and counting
