I like the new name, I vote to keep it
I'm sure BMW does not answer alot of question on the board due to other people wanting to jump in and argue with them, and also if they post a specific then the next person down the road could use it to justify whatever it is they want BMW to do for them
by calling them they can deal with it one on one

The fact that they posted the memo on every board makes total sense though, all BMW people needed to know that the stuff was now available

You liked the old name?the old name was more fitting. :dunno: so this new one has sort of a change of theme. i could live w/ it as long as all the old posts from the ulcer board is still here. although, i did notice that i get way fewer responses when posting my greivances and rantings here as opposed to the 3er forum.

I don't think either name was completely appropriate. Not every post directed to BMW was about something bad, so no need for "Ulcer Department". And I think "Vatken's Heroes" sounds a bit silly, and doesn't portray a board that BMW NA reads well.

How about something simple and to the point like "Dear BMW NA" or just "To: BMW NA"?
