I TOOK MY CAR TO MY PREFERRED BMW CENTER I TOLD THEM THAT I WAS HAVING SUDDEN ACCELERATION THEY SAID THEY RAN DIAGNOSTIC TEST AND COULDN'T FIND THE PROBLEM SO I INSIST IT WAS THERE SO I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER BMW CENTER WICH WAS KINNA FAR ..BUT WHEN I GOT THERE I TOLD THEM THE ISSUES I WAS HAVING , THEY CALL ME 2 HRS LATER TOLD ME THAT THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM SO THERE IT IS :

VERIFIED CUSTOMER CONCERN WITH ROAD TEST. SHORT TESTED AND FOUND NO
FAULTS RELATING TO ISSUES. CHECKED PROGRAMING EGS UPDATE AND FOUND
VEHICLE HAD LATEST SOFTWARE. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION FOUND UNIVERSAL
JOINT BETWEEN TRANSMISSION AND DRIVESHAFT HAD FAILED CAUSING ISSUES.
REMOVED AND REPLACED UNIVERSAL JOINT, REROADTESTED AND FOUND NO OTHER
ISSUES AT THIS TIME. CLEARED ADAPTATIONS FOR TRANSMISSION. ***WILL
TAKE VEHICLE A SHORT TIME TO RELEARN CUSTOMERS DRIVING STYLE***

Yup! For those judging whether to do this themselves, take a peek at my DIY for this --> here (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=444647). It's not very difficult to do; just need to have the car supported properly and have a little patience. Not much more difficult than something like dropping the front bumper, just takes longer.
