I have to say that the X1 looks much better in person than in photos. It's a great size, a little shorter in length and noticeably lower in height than the current X3. I think this will do very, very well here in the States, particularly among the urban demographic that can't find parking for a full-size SUV.

Very nice pics, thanks. I really want one but not if it does not have a MT or allowed on an ED.

Agreed; manual transmission or nothing. My current X3 and Mini CooperS are both manuals.

Why wouldn't it be allowed for ED? It's made in Leipzig not in South Carolina....:confused:

no manual for the xDrive28i, but there should be manuals for diesel versions that arrive to the states in 2012, i think. :dunno:

I should have won big in Vegas, but we all know how that turned out.....:D
