Any M6 that you'd see on the road here *would* be beautiful because it would look a lot like this one. Thankfully, the new fugly one isn't out yet (and any E63 test mules would be disguised and, hence, not at all beautiful).

You probably don't like the E28 M5 either.

The M6 lookes better than the regular 6; the body add-ons helped aesthetically. But aesthetically, I have to say the new 6 looks better than the old non-M 6.

The E28 M5 had the misfortune of coming out at the same time as the E30 M3; one of the most visually appealing Ms ever, and the street version of a dedicated race car, and the M5 just looked too pedestrian in contrast (MHO). The second BMW I ever saw up close and sat inside of was an E30 M3, and I knew I had to have an E30. The M5 never moved me like that.
