I also posted this on RF:

How is your system setup..I am currently run the HU directly into the JL audio 500/5 amp with Hi/Lo converter..which is what the installer did..

I have no trouble with my amp turning on or off...goes on with the radio just like stock amp....

What is PAC OEM-2 inteface?.. is this a Hi/Lo converter?

I wish my installer was working with me to solve the issue like yours...

They are a very high end shop and I amazed with them..They want to charge me $200 for a Hi/Lo converter that will acts also as a ground loop isolator and shielding tape to my crossovers...

nealh,

I hear is the PAC website that addressed the PAC OEM-2

http://www.pac-audio.com/products/oem1.htm

They have a tech support e-mail address that might be able to help you out with an explanation.
