I am schedules for week 40 production. The dealer claims delivery between October 24 and 30th. Seems aggressive, is that possible? located in NYC area.

When is week 40? My car was built on 8/14, got to the Bremerhaven port around 8/18, got on a ship on 8/25, 13 days on the water arriving in Baltimore on 9/7. Got from the VPC to my dealer in MD on 9/13, picked up 9/16. I had just missed a ship so mine took about an extra week until the next ship left. If you hit the cycle just right, you could shave 6-7 days off my schedule.

I was Week 38 and hit production. Finished production 9/21 and am now at Bremerhaven awaiting transport. Based on ship schedules (LA) I won't see mine until late October. (shipment, dealer prep, etc)

I don't see how that is possible, I was week 35 production (first week in Sept). My car is at the port waiting for a ship. I think you earliest shot is middle of November. Plan on 7-12 days for you car to be made, quality checked etc... Then 2-5 days for it to get to the port. Then up to a week to catch a boat. Could be 2 days, could be 7. Just depends on when you car gets there and how many are in front of you. Two weeks on the water. Possible up to a week a the VPC and a week to get to the dealer.

I think these are maximums I have provided. You may hot some and other will be shorter. BUt I think this should manage your expectations. Then, anything that ends up quicker, you will be happy with.
