Hey guys was wondering if any of you have driven on these 20 inch wheels. Strongly considering purchasing them with my new 550I M that's scheduled for October build. I am just nervous about the ride. Any experience with these or 20's in general?

Joshbw - I pick up my 550i this Saturday. I opted for the 312 wheels. I'll keep you posted on the ride. :)

I'm considering 20inch Ferric grey wheels on a new F10 I'm ordering soon. I'd be really interested in your opinion on the ride, and love to see images of the new car with the wheels...!

Enjoy!

I took deliver of my 550i a week ago and have the 356 wheels on them. Ride is not bad with the 20" but I had normal tyres on them instead of RFT.

Nice car mlia - and nice wheels. I see your front bumper/air-intake has been extended - was that standard on your 550, or BMW/dealer upgrade?

Is it just me, but that looks far far better than BMW's M-Sport package...

Thank you and yes, I rather have my lips than the M-Sport:thumbup:

That's from the Japanese 3D Design;)

Possibly the best looking wheels I have seen in a while (obviously everyone to his own)... I went with the std M pack wheels I just could not justify 6k for a set of wheels to get the 20s.

Your set may be, but it is the cross spoke 312 they offer in the USA. I would have worked the dealer a bit had it been the double spoke, same as yours. But I have not even seen those until in this thread. The cross spoke 312 or the 311 is not something I like all that much over the std M wheel. So I did not even spend time on them. Perhaps I will special order yours after a year or two when we will have to get a new set of tires. It is my wife's car anyways. I will stick with the 6.

Have a look at this UK site - they stock all BMW's aftermarket F10 wheels at cheaper prices than dealerships. http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/bmw_alloy_wheels/5_series_f10_alloys

Damn... the more I am looking at these the more I like them. I just don't feel dealing with all the ebaying of the ones that will come with the car. These wheels somehow match the car. To me anyways. Very good choice bro.

I think they are one of the best matched wheel selection, even when aftermarket wheels are taken into account. There is a reason why BMW choose pictures of the F10 with these wheels in their marketing brochures all over the place:thumbup:
