loose steering [Archive] - bimmerfest

lately it seems like my steering ('00 323ci) has been feeling kinda loose. the seems to be not too much response when i move the steering wheel from side to side about an inch on each side. :dunno: i had a steering assembly leak and was repaired about 2 months ago. any ideas anyone. :dunno: :(

Well... It could be the rack, but how old are your control arms?

i just had it replaced around the same time as the steering fix as well.

Might be an alignment issue, then.

Tire pressure drops with cold weather. Increase tire pressure at least 3 PSI all round and call us in the morning.
