M "package" and "M" car are 2 different things. The new M5 has not been released yet, I don't remember when it is expected. There is an "M Sport" package that is available on the new 5, but your car is not then badged "M5".

Cant tell if you are asking about the M5 or just the M package.

The M5 doesn't come out until next year. The M-Sport package is currently available on the 535i, 535xi, 550i and 550xi.

The GT is a completely different car. It's the hatchback / 5 door / wagon / utility whatever Internal code name F07.

The F10 is sedan only.

F11 is the wagon. Euro only.

The F10 M5 (sedan) will likely arrive in the US in 2012.

There are no plans to import the F11 (sportwagon) to the US in any trim, M or standard.

As for the F07 ("GT") I can't imagine anyone would want an M version of that whale. But then again, as an M3 owner, I thought the X5M and X6M were blasphemous.....
