How long does it take for you guys to go from the time you first made the order to your next stage which is stage 150 ?

I ordered mine on 9/30/2010 and I am still in stage 112. :-(

It is 11 days already and my order has not moved one bit.

I know, I have to be patient. But I am just anxious for it to move to stage 150 so I don't have to keep changing stuffs to my order.

I ordered Saturday, status changed to 150 on next Monday.

This depends on the next delivery slot they can give you.

I.e. you put a deposit down on a car today that has a production slot in 5 weeks. When you walked in that was the next available they had. They finalize the order with BMW and it goes from 111 to 112 within a week. Then you wait 4 weeks. A day after you a guy may walk into the dealer and so it happens there is a slot that someone just canceled out of. May be they wanted automatic instead of manual. Thus a slot opens up in 3 weeks and they can still make changes to it. It is not code 150 yet. So he will get the car before you it will only take 2 weeks for it to go 112 to 150. Something similar has happened to us on our 335i in 2008.

Right now I have been code 112 for 3 weeks. This is the longest I have ever been in this code.

Mine also went to 150 from 112 over a weekend. Many dealers have allocation slots already in progress and simply change one to meet your specs. It then gets top priority since it is a sold unit, and goes directly to 150. Your dealer must be very low volume or else there is some other story.

I don't know about top priority. My understanding is that a slot goes after the next slot. I could be wrong.

Could it be the M sport package? It just went on sale over here. That is just a total guess on my part though but I have not seen one on the road yet. Any of you ordered it with the M?

I ordered my 550ix Friday Oct. 1 at 8:00 pm and it went into production at 7:01 am today (150). So mine stayed in 112 status for at least a week. But I know it depends on the dealers allocation slots. My dealer pushed their 2 550ix slots off until November, so I'm sure I took one which would be why mine went through quick

I'm confused. I've got an f10 on order and on the website it just shows it's 'scheduled for production'. I was told the production slot was last wekk.

I understand the website is slow but where do these numbers come from?

Your dealer gets updates and knows the status codes. They can send you this info -- mine scanned weekly reports and emailed them to me.

Yes, today I found out that the status of my car has moved to 150 stage and it is currently in production.

Slowly but surely....

I guess it took 12 days to get moving.
