It should be noted that this steering wheel is the late model three spoke M wheel that has a significantly changed slip ring and air bag deployment configuration. The revised slip ring design is not compatible with E36 3 series and E36 7/8 Z series models. The depowered or "Smart" air bag must be used with this wheel and can not be used with E36 3 series and E36 7/8 Z series models. The eBay advertisement should be promptly edited as it cannot be used with BMW models indicated in the items description.
