I purchased the X5/M heated steering wheel, M steering wheel cover, and rocker shift paddles to replace the sport steering wheel in my 2011 X5 35iSA.

The X5/M steering wheel will not work with the lane departure warning option - I have the LDW option on my X5...I found out the hard way...

So, I am looking to sell the parts to someone who is interested in installing the X5/M steering wheel into their X5/X6...

I prefer local pick up near Mountain View, CA or Berkeley, CA.

Here is the list of parts:

M sports steering wheel - 32 30 6 795 205 - paid $935
M steering wheel cover - 32 30 7 839 474 - paid $129
Rocker/shift paddle right - 61 31 7 840 476 - paid $249
Rocker/shift paddle left - 61 31 7 840 477 - paid $249

I also have replacement screws for doing the swap. This steering wheel will not work with the airbag in a standard or premium X5 35i - you need to have the sport or 'M-sport' steering wheel. I think this steering wheel is thicker than the 'M-sport' steering wheel on the 2011 X5s...I ordered the shift paddles (even though they won't work for shifting) to cover the openings in the /M steering wheel.

I am willing to help with the installation...asking $1300 for all parts.

I'm not interested in buying it from you as I have an E93, but want to swap out the non-HSW for an HSW. However, could you please confirm that your X5 was prewired for the HSW?

My X5 had the HS from the factory (had a button on the existing sport steering wheel)...I am not sure if BMW wires the HS if your car is not configured for the option from the factory...
