Alright guys, last chance before i list it on ebay... so is anybody interested in a good condition M6 steering with tri-color M stitching? I was asking $450 but I can do $375 (shipped) which is way less than I paid for it. It's used but in good condition, just one or two small marks on the lower back of the steering which you wont even see after you install it. I priced the brand new steering and the dealer quoted me $699.

Even of you don't want to do the whole paddle shifter mod (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=503534), you can switch it out with your current steering (I'll send you installation DIY directions) and I guarantee you, it feels so much thicker and better. Then later on you can add the paddle shifters when you're ready. See my previous post (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=503534)(if you haven't already). here is a pic...

Once you throw it up on eBay can you post the auction number. I'd bid on it up to a certain point.

is this bolt on easy?Yeah, real easy. You gotta take the airbag off which honestly takes about 5 seconds (yeah you read that right, you push a little torx screw under the steering and it pops right off) then take out one big center bolt, switch out the harness, buttons and trim and that's it. Maximum half an hour maybe an hour if you're really really slow.
