New BMW Under the Tree???

Just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas. I always enjoyed the car commercials showing some lucky person waking up Christmas morning and finding a brand new car sitting in the driveway with a big red bow.

Has anyone had this experiance and was it a total surprise?

Years ago, I considered getting my wife a new Expedition for Xmas. She was due for a new car in late January, so it wouldn't have been too much a stretch. Didn't do it because we hadn't settled on colors, options, etc...

We can't make assumptions about a family that we know nothing about. When I was a teen, I worked for my family's small business for several years, for no $ in pay. Then, when I was moving out, at about 18 to attend school, may parents "gave" me a new $3,000 car (in about 1973). I think that I more than earned that car. :)
