So, I'm trying to decide on trim for a Silver Gray ZHP with Alcantara/cloth interior.
I've seen pictures of the silver cube and was all set on that, then I saw it in person at my local dealer and thought it looked weird, kind of slightly bronze-ish...
What do you guys think? If you have NON-FLASH pictures of your interior, please post! :)

I chose the black cube because I thought the silver cube was too shiny and would be distracting in bright sun. The black cube is much better looking in person than in any pictures that I have seen. Silver cube looks great in pictures but is a little too bright and bling bling for me.

I thought the silver was too bling bling as well. :bigpimp:

Its of personal taste... I like the silver better. Especially with black interior.
I have natty brown and still prefer the silver cube.. makes it look much
sportier!

I am not sure how you were able to see the aluminum cube as having a bronze tint. Were you inside the showroom?:dunno:
I also had my doubts originally about the silver cube because I was imagining the shiny stuff last seen in Firebirds. I like the smokey silver finish. I got the Alcantara interior and it was a way to break up the stark black interior. I am attaching a picture of my car's interior. The color of the silver cube trim on the transmisison console and the dashboard (not the doors) is how it looks in real life and it is not:bling: at all.

Yeah, I'm not sure either. I just remembered it looked weird. The car was outside, the sun was low in the sky, half overcast. Head-on, it looked like silver, but off-axis, it was still light-colored... but there was another color in there besides silver.

I think it depends on what color seats you get. If you have black leather or the Alcantara/cloth seats, I'd get silver cube. Otherwise, I'd get black cube. I got that with my car (sand leather) and I think it looks great.
If I had to do it again, though, I think I'd want the Alcantara/cloth, so I'd get silver cube, even though I thought that it didn't look very good in person. (Silver cube looked really tacky to me.)

I really can't see the "bronze-ish" effect you are talking about :dunno: It's no where near bronze.
Since the interior is already all black, the sliver contrasts perfectly and breaks up the interior. The Black cube blends in and is almost unnoticable inside the car.
The silver is not "bling" at all and very subtle yet noticable. My dealer was in love with it as where most people I was with when comparing the two. I have been driving this car for 7100 miles and not once regret my choice.
But then again that's just me, good luck with your choice
Here are some pics of my interior:

Sorry about the Tungston light setting:

You need some to break-up all the black. Silver is not that bad in person.
When someone gets into my car for the first time, 9 times out of 10, they run their finger down my Silver Cube trim and say, "WOW, I really like this!!". The trim is always the first thing they notice and it always gets a compliment.
I vote for the Aluminum Silver Cube trim. It provides a good contrast to the black dash, seats and headliner.
I say black cube trim, out of the two. The silver cube trim reminds me of the interior in an 80s Camaro. But that's just me.

It is a matter of taste but I have black cube in my black alcantara ZHP and much prefer it over the silver, and yes I have seen the silver in person on an Imola ZHP with black alcantara. A might too 'shiny' for me.
In my conservative mind silver cube does indeed = :bling:

Ditto, The Boss was very impressed with the silver (and so, coincidentally, was I  )

Looks like the votes are split so far! But in the end, it's what you like. :)

I choose silver because that is what I wanted.
I choose black because that is what I have.
It looks like I'm split.

Obviously a personal choice. I went with black because, in my opinion, the silver looks cheap.

Silver reminds me of the inside of a 70's Pontiac Trans Am.

Man, you guys aren't helping at all!
Looks like a crap shoot, and I'll probably stick with black, since it's a little more understated and won't draw my eye-attention as much as the silver.
I do like the way silver looks in these pictures though.
