If any of you have the nat brown interior, does the headliner also come in natural brown or is it beige?
In ZHP 330's it is black. My guess on any other 325/330 is that it is beige.

...or pay $300.00 and order it as a special (anthracite headliner) option thru your dealer.

My dealer told me today that you can't order it. I just placed an order for a 330i with nat brown interior. I hope the beige will look good with the nat brown. I saw it in a convertible and fell in love with the color combo, but when I noticed on the web it has a beige headliner I wasn't sure, since I didn't actually see one in a sedan.

Actually, Anthracite Headliner (ordering code 0775), is $350.00... check it out, probably you can order it if you really push it. It looks too good on Nat Brown; I saw one ZHP with that combo in my dealer and it is stunning (I have Nat Brown in my 330i with the beige headliner).

How do you feel about the beige headliner? I've never seen it so I can only imagine. I thought that the black headliner might be too much black all around and make the car seem too dark inside or too much like a black on black which I'm not that crazy about. On the other hand, maybe I'm just trying to convince myself I want the beige headliner since that is what I'm getting. :dunno: When you saw the Nat Brown with the black headliner did it really look that much better then the beige? I mean did you really wish you had gotten it that way or are you happy with the beige headliner? Now you really have me confused. I don't suppose you have any pics to compare?

You really got me wondering now, because I've only seen the Nat Brown in the convertible would it look better in the Sedan with beige or black headliner? If I could only see them in person I could decide in a couple of seconds but otherwise all I have to make a decision on is my imagination. I need to tell my dealer soon because I put the order in yesterday. What should i do? :dunno:  :tsk: :eeps:  :D

I've been searching for pics for a while and I only found one Nat Brown with a black headliner but it was a convertible with the top up and it wasn't very conclusive. On the other hand I found quite a few pics with the Nat Brown with the Beige headliner and it really good especially with a black or OB exterior. I think I'm going to stick with the Beige headliner for now. :dunno:

Untill you mentioned it - i never noticed.....The headliner material does run down the a-pilliars - but I did not think much about it. I dunno if it would mix well if it were black....

The anthracite headliner isn't available on the convertible, whether ordered separately or part of a pack. There is only one colour available for the inside of the convertible roof, AFAIK. Certainly the M Sport II pack for convertibles does not includei the anthracite headliner.

In the picture the convertible headliner looks like a very dark grey. I'm wondering if I should just stick with the beige headliner (which looks good in the pictures I've seen) for the 330i I ordered or try and push to see if the dealer can order an anthracite headliner. When I ordered the Nat brown interior I never actually saw it in a sedan, I just saw what it looked like in a convertible and to be honest what the headliner color looks like in the sedan is something that never crossed my mind when I saw it in the convertible. I wish I could compare some pics of the beige headliner with the anthracite headliner in the sedan, or better yet see them in person. You guys who have the beige headliner, what do you think of the darker headliner in the convertible pic, because this is the closest picture I could find of what the anthracite headliner would look like? Do you like it better like this or in the beige?

Well, I like my beige headliner... although the anthracite headliner is stunning in this combo, I'm cheap when I have to pay for options that does not make a 'death or alive' difference. And $350.00 stunning is not...
You do seem to really like it, so check these photos of my car to help you decide what's best for you (the flash make it look greyish):

Thanks. It's hard to tell, but judging from the pictures the color of the headliner changes the whole feel of the interior. The beige headliner seems to brighten up the package and make the natural brown option tend towards a lighter interior feel, whereas the black headliner makes the natural brown option tend towards a darker inerior feel. Tough decision. Originally I wanted the sand interior, but with two kids I just think it's going to get a lot of wear and tear, which is why I like the natural brown, because it still has a light interior feel to it, while having the carpets, lower door panels and seat backs in black will prevent scuff marks from shoes and what not. So with that In mind I'm leaning towards the beige headliner.

The only part you really "look" at is the a-pillars, but over all it lightens up the car with a sand headliner.

That's darker than the standard dark grey I've seen on convertibles in the past, whether equipped with the M Sport pack or not. My understanding was that the small number of Sport-equipped convertibles did not warrant the production of an anthracite (black, not dark grey) headlining for the fabric roof mechanism.
Perhaps BMW Individual really does have something to do with the Performance Package :).
