hey guys
anyone know if its possible to change the rear 10 inch speakers (in the roof lining)
to some decent 6 by 9's?
what will i need to do this?

You might try the E36 forum or the audio forum. The other problem is that most members are Americans and the E36 Touring was not sold in the USA.
