Not sure where this post should be placed but thought I'd start here for my 535i. Any recommendations for window tint percnetages. Missouri allows 35% but that may be too dark. We can get some pretty intense sunlight from May through September. But I also want to keep down heat transfer on long trips.

I want to use a ceramic on the sides and rear and would like some recommendations. Also any dos and don'ts would be greatly appreciated.:)

I have a question related to tint - has anyone used a metallic tint and experienced decreased radio reception? In my dad's 525, he tinted the windows with non-carbon tint and lost almost all AM reception, and some FM.

I used the FormulaOne Pinnacle series ceramic tint @ 40% on all four side windows and 30% on the rear window of my Dark Graphite 550i. I used this product on my last three cars and have been quite happy with the results. All electronics (mobile, radar, radio, transponders, etc work perfectly and I like how it came out. I just recently posted a link to some photos in this thread:

My car has Oyster interior. The tint shop said that the tint looks darker (from the outside) with a black interior, so you should also take that into account.
