I've gotten a couple of these spam e-mails this morning. I copied and pasted the message body from my anti-spam mail pre-processor:

From: BMW AWARENESS 2011 (yosung@pegasus.rutgers.edu)
Subject: CONFIRMATION LETTER FROM THE BMW BOARD

Your e-mail has won you a car and a cash prize of 750,000 GBP
In the BMW Promotion Held in United Kingdom.
To claim your prize Contact Barrister Charles Russell.
Email: bmwclaims@charlesrussellllp.co.uk
Telephone Number: +447024062058
1 Name:
2 Address:
3 Mobile No:
4 Age:
5 Sex:
6 Occupation:
7 Country:
All mail should go to bmwclaims@charlesrussellllp.co.uk

If you feel strong about doing anything about it . Check it up on google. Just last week I check into a post that was on AOL Sports thru google and although they didn't say it was spam they did say it wasn't totaly factual and that was enough to steer me away from it.

Hey.. if it doesn't originate from Nigeria, disregard as spam for sure.

This has been going around for years... BMW does not randomly pick email addresses to give new cars and cash to.

But if they did, I seriously doubt they'd hire a asian college student form Rutgers, NJ (BMW AWARENESS 2011 (yosung@pegasus.rutgers.edu) to notify people.

Did you notice where I said "I've gotten a couple of these spam e-mails this morning". Did you somehow think that I believed this? I was just passing it along.
