Im guessing based on the audi led lights this guy tacked on is an indication that he had to buy an m3 instead of an audi. Oh yeah tell me about safety.http://www.picklebush.com/bmw/bmworaudi.jpg.jpg

Those style lights (LEDs near the fog lights) is actually a Mercedes thing. VW/Audi has them near the headlights.

Still goofy looking but when I went to Germany for Christmas to see family, they sell retrofit kits at car part stores. I couldn't go 10 miles without running into 45 MK2 VW Polo and Golfs that had them...

Looks like they may be an optional accessory in Europe: http://forums.5series.net/topic/107395-led-driving-lights-for-the-e60-anyone/

You can't drive a few miles here in the bay area without seeing a car with those lights. It's so bad when you see like old civics having them. sigh

I can't see those lights without thinking of those 6-foot rope lights you get for $10 at Home Depot. Yes those are probably not LED but still.

Well here they are on another bmw. Why does it seem more normal on this one than my e60?

<-----New member btw Honestly i think Bmw takes the cake when it comes from everything to engine standerds to body and headlight design. There is a light u can buy i think they are called angel halo's or angel eyes or something (Ive only had my bmw a year so far) that fit in the stock headlamp assembly and they look amazing and are only 149.99 and look ten times better in my opinion. I have a question tho for anyone i am thinking of doin the LS1 swap in my 1993 318is. Can anyone tell me what i am gonna have to do to get the corvette headers to fit around the stearing assembly i am mechanically inclined i would appreciate any help i can get thanks alot
