so is there a type of party going on for all the people rollin up? has anyone gone to this? im so excited but i dont want to overhype my crew. Can someone help me find a hotel, I am looking for somewhere that isn't too expensive and that is close to the meet. I am unfamiliar with the hotels in the area. I need a place that has two queen or king beds per room, i only need one room though. any suggestions would be nice

Just so you all know, that Four Points Sheraton hotel in the picture is in Ventura, not Santa Barbara. That picture is from 2001, when the 5-series group stayed there the night before Bimmerfest. They got the management to put "Bimmerfest" on the hotel sign. There was no special party at that hotel though. Just the 5-series people.

Jon likes to use that picture because it has "Bimmerfest" in lights :rofl:


If you are looking for a hotel, check elsewhere in this thread for info. I'm staying at the Ramada with the Northern Cali crowd. :thumbup:

As of this morning, the Ramada only had 1 room left and that was a smoking optional room. Yuck! Try as they might, making such a room safe for a non-smoker never really works.

So I'm at the Sandman.
