Hello,

I've an X1 with an I-Drive HDD.

I can upload music from my USB keyring via the USB socket in the glove box.
If I upload a keyring worth of music I get a folder called USB 1.
If I upload more music from a keyring I get a folder in addition called USB 2.

Unfortunately, as time goes by, and more music uploads are performed from the keyring, I have to remember which USB folder a particular album is in.

Is there any way to merge these USB folders?

I could use the music search facility, but, when using this, the albums play alphabetically and not in album track order, which is fustrating particularly on a live album.

Any help appreciated.

Best Regards

Once you load something to the HD you can not make edits. You can name the folder if it lets you and that's it.

follow those steps, you'll never see anthing else than USB 1 on your i-Drive
1, buy or stolen a BIG USB key(better than 12G, as your car's HDD is 12.5G free for you)
2, format this USB key totally by computer
3, copy your MP3s or music or sound files into that USB key you just formatted
4, plugin your car USB port
5, copy those files in that USB key into your car's HDD
6, ONCE YOU DONE, PLEASE KEEP THAT KEY AND THE FILES INSIDE TO A SAFE PLACE AND NEVER FORMAT THAT USB KEY!!!!
7, COPY NEW FILES INTO THE SAME USB KEY(WITH THE SAME FOLDER)
8, RE-DO STEP 4.

ok, check it out~~~
