Is it worth to get extended maintenance plan?

My 2007 335i's maintenance plan will expire in April. The dealer emailed me and offer a 2 year maintenance plan for $2099. The car currently has 40K miles. Is it worth to have the plan?

So that means you're only driving around 10K miles per year, right? No, it's probably not worth it. You're not putting enough miles on.

Plus BMW does very little maintenance these days -- all you'll probably get is new brake pads.

Ask them what is covered, and get in writing.

The extended warranty might be worth it, though. Do you have the upgraded high pressure fuel pump?
