Here is the list:
BMW Inspection I and II list (http://www.bimmerzone.com/inspection.htm)
Be careful when you get price quotes... I found out that some places do not quote the spark plugs and fuel filter because they can be replaced "every other" Inspection II according to the manual.
(I don't think any independent shop would agree that plugs should go 120K miles.)
Also, there are plenty of things you can do yourself. My E38 4.4 V8 Inspection II quotes were about $875-$1000 including the plugs and fuel filter. The plugs and fuel filter alone wholesale for $100 and retail for $175, so there is part of the price difference.

That's a great Inspection I & II list, better than the other one I have, thanks.
Can I assume that you have fold down rear seats? If so I found that the creaking noise in my car came from the plastic that you will see above the opening to the trunk when the seats are folded down. I pulled the plastic rivets out and pulled the plastic strip off. There is double stick tape behind it so it doesn't come off easily but that is actually what was making the noise. As I went over bumps or dips the tape would stick and unstick making an annoying noise. I put a bunch of foam tape all over it so that the double stick tape wouldn't make contact with the panel behind it. I did it that way because I wasn't sure that the double stick tape was the culprit. The other option is to peel the tape off completely. Good luck.

Thanks for your advice. I will take a look at that and see what happens. I will most likely go with the foam tape option because I can eaily peel it off if the noise persists.I also appreciate the Inspection advice posted earlier.
Thanks and have a nice day.
