Does anyone have a Black 5er with the 18" Double spoke composite rims (Style 71)?

I'm thinking about getting them for my 530i. I've seen a picture of them on a 3, but not on a 5.

Black 5er and 18" (they also come in 17") would be best, but I'd like to see any combination on a 5.

Sorry no pics, but I have seen the style 71s on a 530i and they looked hot. They were in 17" but I'll bet 18s would look better.

FYI: Style 71s were discontinued last year.

Are you sure? I saw them in the most recent BMW Wheel catalog at my dealer the other day.

Thanks for the comments though. I've seen them on a 3 and they do look hot. But the ones that come on the 2002 530i Sport package are pretty nice too.

I'm pretty sure. They might be still available for the E39 but when I went to shop for a set for a friend I was told BMW AG discontinued them

BTW, Clem, it maybe discontiniued for Canada/USA, but as dwette said, it's in the Wheel Catalog and still available (at least here in Germany).

I'll check with the AG to make sure.

Sorry No Black, but I do have a T. Sliver e60 with the cool 8x18, 71's!

They are not discounted, because I just got mine two weeks ago.

Wow!!! Blast from the past! :rofl:

I posted that 3 years ago. I only have the 5er for another day or two when I go to pick up my M3.

Never did change the wheels, and always liked the stock ones anyway, just not as much as the 71, but now they are aviailable on the 3 coupe, so are not as unique anymore. Moot point anyway.
