Hi, I was wondering if style 172 wheels will fit an x3 with no problems. They are for E60.

The 172 wheel sizes are as follows: (F) 8.5x19 et20, (R) 9.5x19 et32.

Offset is way off for an X3, and BMW themselves says these wheels are not for any xDrive model:

Not sure if that's because of the width on the rears, or something else to do with the inside contour of the rims.
Or maybe that exclusion only applies with the very wide 30 series tire they have in that package deal?

Hard to be sure, but even if the center bore and everything else is right, the offset is going to be a problem I'd say.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah was thinking bout the offset on the rears. This may fit but with spacers?

No, spacers would only be applicable if you needed to reduce a deeper (than stock) positive offset.

Those wheels have a shallower offset, so are going to be sitting farther out to start with.

Spacers might prevent wide tires from rubbing against suspension components,
but moving things even further out is not what you want in this instance.

I see, I kinda mixed up my +/- offsets. I still could not figure this out :dunno:
