6/15/2011: SOLD

Greetings,

I could tell you a long sad story about why I have these wheels and why I am selling them, but I don't want to waste your time. So here are the details:

I'm selling a set of OEM BMW Style 312 Cross Spoke 20" wheels. Bought them brand new at BMW of San Diego back in February. They are made for a new F10 5-series. They were mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires and driven on a 2011 550i for about 200 miles. Then they were taken off the car and the tires were dismounted, and now here they are. Since they'd been mounted, BMW of SD wouldn't take them back.

Fronts: 8.5x20, ET 33. Recommended tire size is 245/35R20.
Rears: 9x20, ET 44. Recommended tire size is 275/30R20.
Color: ferrite gray

Included: Only the wheels. No tires, no center caps, no TPMS.

Condition: They are about a 96/100, almost perfect. Obviously and inevitably, there are lots of little chafe marks where each lug nut made contact with each wheel when the lug nuts were tightened down. There are also a few tiny scuffs around the outside edge of the rim, probably from the tires being mounted & dismounted. (Please note that when I say outside edge, I mean between the rim and the tire, so they would not be visible when tires are mounted.) I spent a good 10 minutes looking at each wheel very closely, and I could only find 3 defects that appear to be "wear and tear" from the 200 miles they spent on the car. All three of these little chips/scratches are tiny and almost invisible; I really had to put the camera very close to them to capture them, and standing 4 feet away they are invisible. See the pictures below for details.

Price: New, with CA tax, they cost almost $2800. Some dealer is selling a brand new set on eBay for $2688 including shipping. I am asking $2300 shipped, but I'm open to reasonable offers. I would MUCH prefer someone buy them locally, so I'll give a 10% discount if you come pick them up.

Questions: Reply to the thread, or PM me, whatever. :) Thanks for looking!

I am pretty sure they will fit on an xDrive. Actually, when the car was purchased the salesperson wrote "550i xDr" on the sale paperwork even though the car was not an xDrive model. When the wheels got ordered from the parts department, the guy there pulled the info from his database, and he thought the car was a 550i xDrive based on that sales paperwork. So they must fit on an xDrive model if the parts guy thought he was ordering them for an xDrive in the first place... :)

TL;DR: Yes, they will fit on a 550i xDrive.
