Does anyone buy bmw oem cd changer and get it install? On bmwcircle.com website, they have it for $500, and I saw it says "requires install kit". I've been told that the dealer need to program the idrive to accept the cdchanger. One of dealers in my area quote me $850ish for both part and installaltion. Does anyone get a better deal? It's pretty lame not to have it Plug-and-play.

How about nagivation system? My car is also prewired for Nav.

Thanks

Many other sources for the OEM changer. I got the one in our Roadster off of eBay. I forget exactly, but $300 - $350 range for a new in the box changer.

The install kit includes the brackets and such. I got that from the local dealer.

I just had Bluetooth encoded in my M3 and that cost $54, no appointment necessary.
