Grant,

When is it appropriate to switch out my winter setup (LM-22's)? The temps are cold (30's) overnight, but the daytime temps are getting warmer.. and the chances for significant snow in Columbus are unlikely in March.

Tirerack.com mentions the 4 month winter cycle, however, I can't help but wonder if the increased temps and dry roads are shortening the life of my setup. What is the coldest temperature range you recommend running a summer setup? (I have Bridgestone Potenza's)

Thanks,
Mark

As a general rule, you want to get them switched once the daily temps get over 50+ and you are beyond the threat of snow/ice. That can be hard to judge depending on where you are located. Most of us here in Indiana are switching out now. It's one of those things where you have to make a educated guess :dunno: I always wait till I see the motorcycle guys come out of hiding :) That's a sure sign it's time to switch them out.
